Presented by the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Department of Neurosurgery and Harvard Medical School (HMS), this three-day interdisciplinary CME credited conference will feature didactic presentations from more than 40 leading neuroscientists and clinicians dedicated to the understanding and treatment of tumors of the nervous system. In addition, this conference will include a special focus on audience participation, with opportunity for dialogue with a panel of experts.
The 2007 International Conference on Glioma Research and Therapy will feature a robust agenda of topics that include the origins of gliomas, glioma classification, genomics of gliomas, molecular and cellular biology, the epidemiology of gliomas, radiation therapy, chemotherapeutics, immunotherapy for gliomas, surgical therapies for gliomas and imaging of gliomas. Special sessions will examine the challenges in funding for brain tumor research as well as opportunities for increased public advocacy.
This course will also feature poster presentation by attendees who will have the opportunity to discuss relevant issues in a public forum.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of the latest in glioma biology and therapy.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their work alongside other scientists and clinicians in an open poster session.
